Wired Gender Politics was created to facilitate critical, engaging conversations amongst gender and politics college students across the US and globe. Professor Angevine began the site in the summer of 2016 because Hillary Clinton, at the time, was the nation's first viable female US Presidential candidate. Angevine wanted to create a free, online space where gender politics students could engage with each other and process the meaning of this moment for themselves. The website is also a place to facilitate research on gender politics and provide resources for those interested.
